Une histoire des Civilisations
‘Une histoire des civilisation/Comment l’archéologie bouleverse nos connaissances’ is a major publication that takes the reader from a trip of 6 million years of the evolution of man kind.
This passionate book was directed by the three Archaeologists Jean-Paul Démoule, Dominique Garcia et Alain Schnapp. Sandrine Bachmeyer, Dominique Carré et François Gèze lead the editorial coordination, Anna Bertaccini Tadini was responsable by the iconography. The maps were designed by the Studio Joost Grootens and Atelier de création cartographique Afdec.
The book has five sections with introductif texts by the main authors, each section is followed by specific texts that englobe all continents in from the the formation of the globe to our days.
This rich 608 page book was a long and passionate process (we've learned a lot about who we are), very demanding. Thank you Inrap and La Découverte for having us on board in building this reference book.
